New issue 424578 by ***@gmail.com: <option> innerText property is
write-only
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=424578

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create 2 <option> elements with different text
2. Copy the .innerText from one option to another
3. The second <option> will now display empty string

What is the expected behavior?
The innerText property is copied exactly

What went wrong?
The innerText property returns empty string ("")

Did this work before? Yes Chrome 37 for sure

Chrome version: 38.0.2125.104 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0

See demo here: http://codepen.io/anon/pen/LKjhx - It works fine in IE.

Able to repro this on latest canary(40.0.2196.0) across all the platforms.

Will update the bisect info(if regression) soon.

Comment #4 on issue 424578 by ***@chromium.org: <option> innerText

https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=424578

Able to reproduce the above issue on Latest Canary, Dev ,Beta and Stable
i.e 38.0.2125.104 (reported version) on all platforms.

As we can see only "Click me" button right from M18 (18.0.1000.0 (Official
Build 116827) to M38 38.0.2090.0 (Official Build 282854),we cant able to
test further and in Latest stable it is displaying Expected texts
with "Click me" button but not working as intended as per bug report.

So Considering this as non-regression issue as we can test it from M18 and
Wrong Behavior in M38.

Note :In IE we can see the intended behavior.

Let me know if you need any more details.

small correction: So Considering this as non-regression issue as we can't
test it from M18 to M38 and Wrong Behavior in M38 and with Latest builds..
