New issue 289143 by ***@gmail.com: After password change, "Sync error:
sign out then sign in again" message repeats indefinitely; sign-out and
sign-in has no effect
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=289143
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 4537.38.0) AppleWebKit/537.36
(KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.30 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
Have chrome sync enabled, change google account password.
What is the expected behavior?
After change, when prompted to sign out and sign in again, sync should
resume
What went wrong?
Endless loop of signing out and signing in again has no effect. Chrome
still prompts to sign out and sign in again. The only fix I have found is
to completely disable sync on the dashboard, then attempt to access "other
devices" on all sync'd devices to make them aware that sync is disabled,
then reenable it and enter the new information on all devices.
Did this work before? N/A
